Brethren All:

We’ve had a great start to our Masonic year!  I hope all will continue the great support by turning out for our stated communication on March 2nd.  Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. as usual, followed by our meeting at 7:30 p.m where we’ll receive the District Deputy Grand Master for District 1B, Rt. Wor. William “Larry” Alexander.

On March 9th we’ll initiate at least one candidate to the Entered Apprentice Degree, and on March 10th I’ve scheduled a fraternal visit to Ft. Hunt-Skidmore Daytime Lodge.  As a daytime lodge, Ft. Hunt-Skidmore meets at 11am at our Temple, and serves a fine breakfast beforehand and lunch afterwards.  All of our retirees should consider stopping in for good food and fellowship.

As a reminder to all officers, the District Leadership Conference will be held on March 20th.  Also, we’ll be raising a Brother to the sublime degree of Master Mason on the 23rd, and in full costume.  This is a great way for all to see our ritual at its best!    Finally, for those Brethren who haven’t attended Lodge in awhile, Wor. John Pearson will be holding a special rusty nail session on the 30th to help knock the rust off of the essential parts of the ritual for our newer or more infrequent members.  Please consider joining us if you haven’t been to Lodge recently and would like to brush up.
