1. There will
be no interference in any way with the scheduled Springfield Lodge #217 activities. The Lodge
shall always have prior claim on the use of the Lodge facilities, except for
regularly scheduled meetings or stated communications of Masonic family
organizations previously approved by the Springfield Lodge Rental Committee.
2. The Lodge
Room shall be used only by groups of Masonic affiliation. The multi-purpose room and other facilities
may be used by any renter approved by the Lodge Rental Committee as concurred
in by the Worshipful Master of Springfield Lodge No. 217.
3. All fund
raising activities conducted in the Herbert Charles Hunter Memorial Masonic
Temple (except those conducted by the Springfield Lodge #217) shall be under
the auspices of the Springfield Masonic family organizations. At present, these
organizations include Springfield Lodge #217 AF & AM, Nellie Custis Chapter
#169, O.E.S., Bethel #45 I.O.J.D. and with prior permission the Northern Region
Order of DeMolay.
4. All
activities conducted by outside interests shall have prescribed charges levied,
based on time and facilities used for conducting such activity. Lodge rental
will be for a minimum of three (3) hours and the hourly rate will apply for a
maximum of six (6) hours. These charges
shall be in the form of donations and may be waived or adjusted by the
Springfield Lodge Rental Committee.
5. All outside
activities shall be scheduled through the Springfield Lodge Rental Committee
when open dates are available.
