LODGE RENTAL AGREEMENT
RENTAL:
1. I/We the undersigned accept Springfield Lodge #217s offer to rent the Springfield Lodge facilities as follows:
a. Renter agrees to rent the lodge for ___ hours at $75.00 per hour on the________day of _______, 2003 commencing at _______; which includes the use of the lobby area, the multipurpose room and the bathroom facilities only. Reservations are considered definite when this document is signed and security deposits have been paid. The remainder of the rental agreement must be paid no later than 10 days prior to rental date. All fees must be paid in cash, money order or certified check.
b. A security deposit of $300.00 is payable on signing the rental agreement.
c. If kitchen facilities are to be used, a fee of $100.00 will be assessed, and a kitchen clean-up deposit of $100.00 is payable on signing the rental agreement. ( ) if checked, kitchen facilities are NOT to be used.
d. An overtime fee of $50.00 will be charged for each ˝ hour renter stays beyond the rental agreement time.
e. The security deposits will be returned within 15 days, or when all accounts are settled, if there is no infraction of the contract.
LIABILITY:
The renter agrees to assume all responsibility for any injury to persons attending the event, or loss of their property. The renter also agrees to assume responsibility for any damage or theft to the Lodge and its contents by anyone attending the event.
CATERING:
The renter will be responsible for the entire cost of catering. In the event the caterer utilizes the Lodge kitchen facilities RENTAL: Paragraph 1.c. above applies. The kitchen and its adjacent spaces may be used; however, limited refrigerator and freezer space available. A stove, oven and microwave may be used for heating food. All liquids and ice must be held in heavy plastic containers, NOT plastic bags. The caterer may arrive at ______ to unload and shall be responsible for all preparation and materials brought into the Lodge. Caterer cleanup must be completed by ________. In no case, may any catering/vendor equipment or supplies be left in the building after conclusion of the event or for later pick up.
WALK-THROUGH:
A walk-through of the Lodge with the Applicant, the Caterer (if any), and the Lodge Designate must take place at least _____________ prior to the event to make note of any existing marks, or damage to the facilities. All arrangements for the event, including the placement of tables, chairs and the schedule for the set-up of equipment must be approved at this time.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:

CANCELLATION:
Cancellations made more than 21 days prior to an event will have a $30.00 administration fee subtracted from the returned deposit. Those cancellations made less than 21 days prior to an event will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, unless the date is rebooked, at which time the security deposit will be returned less a $30.00 administrative fee.
I have read the rules for use of the Lodge, understand my responsibility, and agree to the conditions set forth above.
